KAMELOT To Be Joined By Female Soprano MARI On Japanese Tour
September 22, 2007Female soprano vocalist Mari Youngblood (born Mary Schreck; a.k.a. wife of KAMELOT guitarist Thomas Youngblood),who is mostly known for her role as Helena on KAMELOT's "Epica" and "The Black Halo" albums, along with her live performance on "One Cold Winter's Night" album and DVD, will perform with KAMELOT on these four special concerts in Japan this year:
Oct. 10 - Tokyo, Japan - Shibuya O-East
Oct. 11 - Osaka, Japan - Shinsaibashi Club Quattro
Oct. 12 - Nagoya, Japan - The Bottom Line
Oct. 14 - Yokohama, Japan - Yokohama Blitz
Mari has also performed as lead in numerous musicals, including "Kismet", "Oklahoma", "Brigadoon" and many more.
As previously reported, ex-KAMELOT bassist Sean Tibbets (ROYAL ANGUISH) will rejoin his former bandmates on their upcoming European and Japanese shows. Due to family commitments, current KAMELOT bassist Glenn Barry will not make the trip.
KAMELOT and I-Code recently completed work on the video for the song "The Human Stain" from KAMELOT's newest CD "Ghost Opera". Watch the clip at YouTube.
KAMELOT's video for the song "Ghost Opera" is available online at this location. The track is the title cut off KAMELOT's new album, which was released in North America on June 5.
"Ghost Opera" is KAMELOT's third release for SPV/Steamhammer Records. The CD was recorded and mixed at Gate Studios and Pathway Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producers Sascha Paeth and Miro. Artwork was handled by Mattias Norén with contributions by Alexandra V. Bach, Liliana Sanchez and Derek Gores.
